LayGO® for Alcatel WinBSC Users
Alcatel's WinBSC software uses our SXBX-WA-ACC-2 LayGO® toolkit to access and control Alcatel Base Station Controllers. This toolkit has the following components:
All the LayGO software components are bundled with Alactel's Base Station Controller software.
We frequently receive support calls from Alcatel customers who have bought the Sealevel ACB-PCMCIA card directly from Sealevel or their distributors, only to find that the WinBSC application does not work. Please keep in mind that the card used by the LayGO® software is a customized version of the Sealevel PC-ACB-MP and that the standard card will not work. The toolkit that includes the proper card must be purchased directly from Advanced Relay (p/n SXBX-WA-ACC-2) or from Alcatel. The following pictures show the back and the front of current Sealevel PCMCIA cards that work properly with Alcatel Win BSC software. They are either labeled Advanced Relay p/n A02-ACC-1 or Sealevel p/n 3612-A02.
The images on the left are from cards currently shipped. The ones on the right, are also operational cards very likely to be found in the field. Do not hesitate to contact our support department with questions about this issue. |
